Captained by Holly Seglah the newly formed year 9 squad played their first match on Monday against Sir John Lawes School. Tash Williams had a fantastic game, charging down opposition in possession and making life very difficult for one of SJL's best player. Tash has been named as Player of the match...well done!!
Although we lost match it was evenly matched until the last five minutes when SJL scored their second goal. Emily, Tash, Holly, Alice, Emma Lane and Emma Hodgsen worked extremely hard and held of numerous attacks from SJL; Emma H saved four goals!!
We have area's to work on but their are plenty of positives, an all round good showing from the girls well done.
