Year played top of the County table Kingshott this evening. Kingshott played an excellent game and scored some well organised goals. Beaumont struggled in the first half mostly due to being overwhelmed by an outstanding Kingshott squad. After some stern second half words Beaumont realised that they could put up a better fight for the match and in the last 15 minutes match defended as a squad and showed real determination leading five breaks on Kingshott as opposed to none in the first half!!
After a much better second half Beaumont left the pitch having lost the game but with their heads held high; as always they pulled together aind worked incredibly hard as a squad.
Jess Ackers recieved a big hit to her knee at the beginning of the first half and played on; Elise Cutforth also fell whilst defending and played on. We need this sort of grit from the whole squad to win matchs in the FREEZING cold like this one!!
Doughnuts and Juice eased the pain after the match.
