Beaumont VS Hitchin Match Report

Thank You to Esme, Bina and Laura. #wow

We reached our destination.  Our time had come.  Fear struck the eyes of many from the opposing team.  Adrenaline coursed through our veins and pulsated in our fists.  We were ready…..

Libe strutted out and took the centre of the pitch.  Our captain had previously won the toss up.  So therefore the ball was settled on our side and we were ready to pounce.  The whistle blew.  Dribbling in to the horizon, we took a strong hit and battered down their defence, leaving destruction in our path.  The crowd went wild as Olivia ruined their back board.  Their goalie dived but the ball shot straight through the weak man.

After the interval, Georgina thwarted down the angry girl.  There was a silence across the land as the girl said forbidden language.  God looked down on her sadly.  What sins she had committed.  As the game commenced, Esme battled through her agony and the arctic conditions would not beat us down.  We fought on but cracks formed in our defence.  Laura, Rebecca and Georgina fought the attackers but unfortunately a pathetic shot slipped in.  Heartbroken, we did not let them take our triumph away from us.

ITS NOT FAIR.  They had one more warrior than us but that did not break us.

The final whistle blew, it was even but our victory was in our hearts.

AMEN!
